Blues Prospects Solid at AHL All-Star Game

by Staff Writer / St. Louis Blues
Despite suffering an 11-8 loss in Monday's AHL All-Star Game, the Blues prospects participating in the game had quite a showing.

T.J. Hensick recorded a goal and an assist and defenseman Nathan Oystrick was a plus-3 in the loss. Goalie Jake Allen started in goal for the Western Conference and gave up 4 goals.

The Western Conference team was coached by first-year Rivermen Head Coach Jared Bednar. He earned the honor because the Rivermen owned the best record in their conference by the end of play on Jan. 9.

The Rivermen are currently 28-17-2-1 at the All-Star break.
