ST. LOUIS - Our assertion that Blues fans are the best fans in the National Hockey League was reconfirmed Sunday night when Collin Fenton and Jared Grzywacz rescued an 88-year-old woman from a burning home on their way to watch a Blues game on FOX Sports Midwest.

According to a
report by Jeremy Kohler in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch on Monday
, Fenton and Grzywacz were driving to watch the Blues battle the Winnipeg Jets on Friday when they passed a burning home and heard screams of "my grandma's in there!" They stopped to help, reached through a window and pulled Margaret Roso, 88, through a ground floor window to safety.
"Probably three minutes after that, the whole thing was in flames," Grzywacz told the Post-Dispatch.
After learning of the story, a Blues executive reached out to Fenton and Grzywacz and invited them to Friday's game vs. Anaheim - and the tickets are on the house!
"Collin and Jared are heroes in our community," Blues Chairman Tom Stillman said. "Inviting them to a game is the least we could do to thank them for their selfless courage. We are happy to have fans like Collin and Jared on our side."
