ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Blues extended qualifying offers to nine restricted free agents on Monday.

Forwards Robby Fabbri, Dmitrij Jaskin, Oskar Sundqvist, Beau Bennett and MacKenzie MacEachern received qualifying offers from the club, while defensemen Joel Edmundson, Jordan Schmaltz and Petteri Lindbohm, along with goalie Jordan Binnington, also received qualifying offers.
Nikita Soshnikov, who also was a restricted free agent, signed a one-year, one-way contract
with the Blues on Sunday.
By extending qualifying offers to restricted free agents, the Blues retain negotiation rights should a player sign an offer sheet with another NHL club. Under that scenario, the Blues would have the option to match the offer.
