ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the Blues have claimed forward Ty Rattie off waivers from the Carolina Hurricanes. Rattie will report to the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Chicago Wolves.

Rattie, who was first claimed off waivers by the Hurricanes on Jan. 4, appeared in five games and posted two assists during his stint in Carolina.
Overall, the 6-foot, 185-pound forward has dressed in 35 career NHL games, logging 10 points (four goals, six assists) and six penalty minutes. The Airdrie, Alberta, native has also played in 196 career AHL games, accumulating 137 points (69 goals, 68 assists) and 77 penalty minutes.
Rattie, 24, was originally drafted by the Blues at 32nd overall in 2011.
