ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues players took a break from hockey on Monday, December 17 to visit with children at area hospitals. An annual favorite charitable activity, players called on children at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital and St. Louis Children’s Hospital and delivered gifts of Blues memorabilia.
The annual hospital visits are one example of the Blues’ year-round commitment to the St. Louis community. Through community outreach efforts and the St. Louis Blues 14 Fund, the organization’s charitable trust, the Blues seek to positively impact the issues of cancer awareness, prevention, and intervention; positive youth development through sports; education; and diversity.
