Blues Attend Zookeeper Movie Premiere

Blues players T.J. Oshie, Patrik Berglund, Carlo Colaiacovo and Ben Bishop walked the red carpet Wednesday at the premiere of the new movie, "Zookeeper," which stars actor Kevin James and opens in theaters everywhere on July 8.

Louie also entertained fans that showed up to watch the festivities.

James, who appeared at the Saint Louis Zoo on Wednesday for the premiere, spent time meeting fans and mingling with local celebrities, including all four Blues players who attended the premiere.

"Kevin James is such a great actor and a funny guy to watch," said Colaiacovo. "To be a part of something like this is really fun. I'm just here to have fun, enjoy the day and watch a funny movie."

The movie stars James as animal caretaker Griffin Keyes, who decides the only way to get the girl he wants is to leave the zoo for a more glamourous job. But the animals have a different plan in mind.

The movie also stars Rosario Dawson and Leslie Bibb and features voicework from Cher, Nick Nolte, Adam Sandler and Sylvester Stallone.

Colaiacovo said he'd be sure to give James a hard time for wearing a Chicago Blackhawks jersey in the movie, "The Dilemma," but James was prepared for that.

"I shot (a movie) in Chicago and the Blackhawks win the Stanley Cup. I shot in Boston recently, I just wrapped. Who wins? The Bruins win it," James said. "So St. Louis, you better bring me here to shoot my next movie. That's all I'm saying...I'm just throwing that out there right now."
