ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has assigned defenseman Peter Harrold to their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Chicago Wolves.
Harrold, 32, was signed by the Blues as a free agent on July 2, 2015. The 5-foot-10, 177-pound defenseman has dressed in 45 games for the Wolves this season, posting 20 points (one goal, 19 assists), 20 penalty minutes and a plus-6 rating.
Harrold has appeared in 274 career NHL regular season games, including stints with Los Angeles and New Jersey, accumulating 42 points (13 goals, 29 assists) and 74 penalty minutes. In addition, the Kirtland Hills, Ohio, native has logged four assists in 19 career postseason games.
