ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has assigned forward Sergey Andronov to the Blues’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Chicago Wolves.
Andronov, 24, has dressed in 50 games for Chicago this season, posting 25 points (12 goals, 13 assists).
Overall, the 6-foot-2, 190-pound forward has appeared in two AHL seasons with the Blues organization (Peoria, Chicago), totaling 44 points (20 goals, 24 assists) in 109 games. Previously, he spent six seasons in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), including stints with Tolyatti Lada and CSKA Moscow.
The Penza, Russia native was originally drafted by the Blues in the third round, 78th overall, of the 2009 Entry Draft.
