Fabbri-designed New Era hat line available starting Dec. 20

New hats will be released each month exclusively at the True Blues Authentic Team Store

ST. LOUIS - Blues forward Robby Fabbri can now add designer to his resume.

Over the summer, Fabbri sat down with designers from New Era Cap Company to bring his personal style and preferences into a line of hats for Blues fans and St. Louis lovers alike.

As an ode to the classic menswear and accessory dealers known as haberdasheries, the line was given the name "Fabbridashery."

Hutton sets franchise record with 48-save shutout

Blues goalie surpasses previous record of 47 saves set in 2008

ST. LOUIS - Carter Hutton's 48-save shutout performance on Saturday against the Winnipeg Jets set a new franchise record for the most saves in a shutout by a Blues goaltender.

Hutton surpassed the previous team record, which was set on Nov. 25, 2008 when Chris Mason posted a 47-save shutout against the Nashville Predators.

ST. LOUIS - Kyle Brodziak is "dinged up" and won't be in the lineup tonight when the Blues host the Winnipeg Jets at 6 p.m. in the first game of a home-and-home, back-to-back matchup.

"He's a little dinged up, that's why he didn't practice yesterday. We were hoping he could come in and feel better today, but that wasn't the case," Blues Head Coach Mike Yeo said. "Hopefully he feels better tomorrow."

Blues lift spirits of 18-year-old battling leukemia

That's what the handwritten tag on Ashley Freihoff's Hockey Fights Cancer jersey read as she anxiously awaited a visit from the Blues at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital on Wednesday afternoon.

Ashley, who would be celebrating her 18th birthday on Thursday, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in January and has been in and out of the hospital undergoing chemotherapy treatments for the last 11 months. As luck would have it, she was scheduled for treatment on a day the Blues would be visiting the hospital for the holidays, so she made sure to wear her lavender Hockey Fights Cancer Blues jersey in anticipation of their arrival.

ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has activated goaltender Carter Hutton from injured reserve.

In addition, the Blues placed defenseman Jay Bouwmeester on IR, recalled forward Sammy Blais from the American Hockey League's San Antonio Rampage and assigned goaltender Jordan Binnington to the AHL's Providence Bruins.
