Blues Announce Face-Off Week 2015

ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Blues have announced Face-Off Week ‘15 presented by Dobbs Tire and Auto Centers, a series of fan-friendly events to kick-off the 2015-16 regular season. Highlights for the week include a social media scavenger hunt, Opening Night Plaza Party and a special Salute to the Heartland of Hockey before puck drop on October 8.

Monday, Oct. 5
Final KMOX Blues Caravan Featuring GM Doug Armstrong at OB Clark’s

Armstrong will join Blues play-by-play announcer Chris Kerber live from 6-9 p.m. Attending fans will have the chance to enter drawings to win great Blues prizes, including a 3-Game Ticket Pack, Blues merchandise and more.

Tuesday, Oct. 6
Heartland of Hockey Social Challenge

The Heartland of Hockey Social Challenge officially kicks off and you can join our bid to bring the 2018 IIHF World Junior Championships to St. Louis. Each week, help us show the world what a great host city St. Louis would be and in return you will be eligible to win great prizes. Wednesday, Oct. 7
Social Media Scavenger Hunts

Throughout the day, Blues fans will have an opportunity to win great autographed merchandise by following the Blues social media accounts and gathering clues that will lead them around the St. Louis area where prizes will be located.

Thursday, Oct. 8
2014-15 Season Opener

The Blues will host a pregame party for all fans outside Scottrade Center on the Clark Avenue Plaza beginning at 4 p.m. Local cover band Joe Dirt will take the stage beginning at 5 p.m. and our Blues broadcasters, Angella, Louie and the Blue Crew will join them on stage where fans can win great prizes.

All fans are encouraged to be in their seats before 6:30 for the Opening Night Show, which this season will feature a special Salute to the Heartland of Hockey ceremony – commemorating St. Louis’ bid to host the 2018 IIHF World Junior Championships.

After all that, the fun really gets started as the Blues hit the ice to begin the 2015-16 season by welcoming No. 1 overall NHL Draft selection Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers to town. All fans in attendance will receive a Team Calendar presented by Dobbs Tire and Auto Centers.

The party continues after the game at the new Thursday Night postgame show until midnight.
