ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Blues have announced Face-Off Week ‘14 presented by Dobbs Tire and Auto Centers, a series of fan-friendly events to kick-off the 2014-15 regular season. Highlights for the week include a party inside Scottrade Center prior to the season opener on Oct. 9, a 14th street-closing Block Party on Oct. 11 and much more.

Blues 14 Fund Golf Classic at Norwood Hills Country Club
Participants will have the opportunity to tee it up with Blues players, alumni, broadcasters and management, as well as enjoy dinner and an award ceremony, including the presentation of this year's Barclay Plager Spirit Award winners. Social Media Scavenger Hunts
Throughout the day, Blues fans will have an opportunity to win great prizes, including tickets to Opening Night, by following the Blues social media accounts and gathering clues that will lead them around the St. Louis area where prizes will be located.

Final KMOX Blues Caravan Featuring GM Doug Armstrong at OB Clark’s
Armstrong will join Blues play-by-play announcer Chris Kerber live from 6-9 p.m. Attending fans will have the chance to enter drawings to win great Blues prizes, including a suite for a 2014-15 regular season game, single-game tickets and much more. St. Louis Post-Dispatch Blues beat writer Jeremy Rutherford will be on hand to sign copies of his book, "100 Things Blues Fans Should Know & Do Before They Die."

2014-15 Season Opener
The Blues will host a pregame party for all fans inside Scottrade Center, with doors opening at 5 p.m. Pregame festivities will include “early-bird specials” from Levy Restaurants at concession stands as well as a live DJ playing inside the arena bowl. Fans are encouraged to take their seats by 6 p.m. as the Blues launch the 2014-15 season with an audio-visual show, followed by the season opener with the Eastern Conference Champion New York Rangers at 7 p.m.
Early-bird specials are from 5 to 6 p.m. and feature the following half-price items: regular hot dog ($2.50), regular nachos ($3.25) and small popcorn ($2).
There will also be an exclusive, invite-only event with several Blues legends from 5-6 p.m. at Peabody Opera House. Mc’d by Chris Kerber, this event will be a chronological celebration of five decades of Blues hockey, featuring life-long Blue and recent St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame inductee Bob Plager and the return of fan favorite and Blues great Garry Unger, as well as Hall-of-Famers Bernie Federko, Brett Hull and Al MacInnis
