ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the team has acquired defenseman Brady Lyle from the Boston Bruins in exchange for future considerations.

Lyle will report to the Blues' AHL affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds
Lyle, 22, has dressed in 48 games for the AHL's Providence Bruins this season, recording nine points (two goals, seven assists) and 10 penalty minutes.
Across his two-year AHL career, the 6-foot-1, 211-pound defenseman has accrued 23 points (nine goals, 14 assists) and 27 penalty minutes in 73 regular-season games.
