The 6-foot-2, 203-pound goaltender appeared in 15 games for the Blues last season, leading rookie goalies with nine wins (9-4-1) and a 2.46 goals against average, while his .905 save percentage ranked second.
In addition, Allen became the first Blues rookie goaltender to record at least nine wins since Curtis Joseph in 1989-90.
