You Wanted It, You Got It: FSN To Re-Air Top Four Games From 2005-06

Before the Blue Jackets kick off the 2006-07 season at home against the Vancouver Canucks on Friday, October 6, fans can tune into FSN Ohio for a full slate of Blue Jackets programming beginning with tonight’s telecast of the club’s final preseason contest as the Blue Jackets take on the defending Stanley Cup champion Carolina Hurricanes. Play-by-play announcer Jeff Rimer and new color analyst Danny Gare will c all the action live from Raleigh, North Carolina beginning at 7 p.m.

As decided by fan voting on BlueJackets.com, the top four games from last season will be re-aired on FSN Ohio at 8 p.m. each night of October 2-5. The “Best of the Blue Jackets” broadcasts will be hosted by Jeff Rimer and Danny Gare. The schedule for that program is as follows:
Oct. 2: 3-2 OT win vs. Nashville on Oct. 26, 2005
Oct. 3: 4-3 OT win vs. Chicago on Dec. 26, 2005
Oct. 4: 5-4 OT win vs. Dallas on Apr. 18, 2006
Oct. 5: 5-4 shootout win at Detroit on Mar. 25, 2006

Also on tap for next week, Jeff Hogan and Jim Day host “NHL Preview ’06: Columbus Blue Jackets” set to debut on Tuesday, October 3 at 7:30 p.m. The 30-minute special will feature insights on the upcoming season from players and coaches.
