What did Blue Jackets fans see the last time they walked into Nationwide Arena?
For most, it was a winning hockey team in an electric playoff atmosphere. The Blue Jackets have been working hard all summer to put another winner on the ice this season, but the players aren’t the only ones working on their game during the off-season.
The management and staff of Nationwide Arena have been putting in the hours to create an even better experience for the fans, and they’ve come up with a handful of new features and amenities to make 2014-15 even better for Blue Jackets fans visiting the arena.
“Fans want to be entertained and they want to have fun while they’re here, and most importantly, they want the Blue Jackets to win,” said Larry Hoepfner, Blue Jackets Executive Vice President of Business Operations. “One of the challenges is creating that bond between the team and the fan so that we’re all fighting towards one thing.”
Fans at Nationwide Arena will see new food choices, new merchandising, and a new attitude for Blue Jackets hockey games. It’s possible that we lost your attention after ‘new food choices,’ so let’s cover that right off the bat!
