D Jan Hejda (Oct. 13 vs. Calgary; Injured Reserve on Oct. 16 retroactive to Oct. 13) is expected to miss four to six weeks… LW Fredrik Modin (Sept. 18 at Minnesota; Injured Reserve on Sept. 29) is expected to miss four to six weeks.

BLUE JACKETS LOOK TO STAY HOT AT HOME, REBOUND FROM ROAD TRIP
The Blue Jackets play two of three games this week at Nationwide Arena, where the club is 3-0-0 this season, outscoring the opposition 8 (2.67 per game) to 3 (1.00) in those games… The Jackets went 1-3-0 on their recent four-game road trip and were outscored 22 (5.50) to 15 (3.75)… Through its first 10 games, Columbus has scored 33 goals (3.30) and allowed 34 (3.40)… The Jackets went 5-1-0 in their first six games, outscoring the opposition 18 (3.00) to 12 (2.00), prior to last week's road trip.

TEAM NEWS & NOTES
The Blue Jackets have converted 7-of-27 power play chances (25.9 pct.) over their past six games compared to 2-of-11 (18.2 percent) in the first four games … The club's penalty killers stopped 28-of-29 opponent power plays (96.6 pct.) in the first seven outings compared to 6-of-13 (46.2 pct.) in the last three contests… RW Rick Nash tallied 2-1-3 at Anaheim on Oct. 24 and with his second goal became the first player in Blue Jackets history to record 200 goals with the club… RW Jakub Voracek had a four-game point streak (4-2-6) snapped at Los Angeles on Oct. 25… D Fedor Tyutin scored his first game-winning goal as a Blue Jacket and was +4 (tied for the best in franchise history by a defenseman in a single game) at Anaheim on Oct. 24… D Marc Methot collected the first two-assist game of his NHL career at Anaheim on Oct. 24… C Samuel Pahlsson had a three-game point streak (0-3-3) snapped at Anaheim on Oct. 24, but won 22-of-30 face-offs (73 pct.) vs. his former teammates… His face-offs won total was one shy of the club record of 23, set twice by Mike Sillinger… In G Steve Mason's five wins, he has faced 163 shots (32.6 per game) and allowed 10 goals. In his three losses, he has faced 67 shots (22.3) and allowed 17 goals.

RICK NASH, TIME WARNER CABLE SUPPORT ADULT LITERACY PROGRAMS
For the second year in a row, Blue Jackets captain Rick Nash is serving as the spokesman for Time Warner Cable's month-long adult literacy campaign. During the month of October, Time Warner Cable will donate $5 of every connection fee from its Road Runner high speed Internet and Digital Phone services to adult literacy programs throughout its Mid-Ohio Division service area.

CHIPOTLE'S BURRITOS WITH THE BOYS
