JACKETS LOOK TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF FLURRY OF HOME GAMES
The Blue Jackets began a stretch of playing eight of their next 11 games at Nationwide Arena with a 4-3 SOL vs. the Calgary Flames on Nov. 28. Games at Chicago (Tuesday), Nashville (Dec. 10) and Minnesota (Dec. 15) are the lone road contests between Nov. 28-Dec. 17. The home games during that span include visits by St. Louis (Monday), Toronto (Thursday), Colorado (Saturday), Florida (Dec. 9), Anaheim (Dec. 12), Nashville (Dec. 14) and Phoenix (Dec. 17). The Blue Jackets are currently 6-2-3 at Nationwide Arena.
HUSELIUS STAYS HOT
After missing the previous four games due to injury, LW Kristian Huselius returned to the lineup Nov. 13 vs. Anaheim and has collected 5-6-11 with points in seven of the eight games he's played since. He has raised his season totals to 10-10-20 in 21 games to rank second on the club in goals and points. He is also tied for the club lead with two game-winning goals and ranks second (tied) in power play goals with four.
STRALMAN ADDS OFFENSIVE PUNCH FROM THE BLUELINE
D Anton Stralman leads all CBJ defensemen in goals and points with 4-11-15 in 23 games. He ranks second to Fedor Tyutin in assists and is tied for second among all players on the club with four power play goals. After being held to 1-3-4 in his first 10 games with the club, he has notched 3-8-11 in his last 13. In addition, three of his four multi-point games have come in his last seven outings. Stralman is also tied for the club lead in power play scoring with 4-6-10.
TORRES CONTINUES TORRID PLAY
LW Raffi Torres has tallied 1-3-4 in six games since returning to the lineup after missing two games due to injury Nov. 13-16. His three assists in the past four games come after he collected one in his first 19 outings. He has notched 9-4-13 in 23 outings, ranking third on the club in goals and leading all Blue Jackets with five power play goals. His five goals with the man advantage are one more than he scored in the past three seasons combined (165 games).

Umberger has collected 2-2-4 in his last five games after being held to 0-1-1 in his previous six outings… D Fedor Tyutin has tallied points in five of the past seven games (0-7-7) to raise his season totals to 1-13-14 in 25 games… RW Rick Nash collected 0-2-2 at Montreal on Nov. 24 after being shutout in back-to-back games for the first time this season at Nashville on Nov. 21 and NY Rangers on Nov. 23. He continues to lead the club in goals, assists (tied) and points with 15-13-28 in 25 games… C Antoine Vermette recorded his first multi-goal game with two goals at Montreal on Nov. 24 and has tallied 3-4-7 in his last eight games. He played in his 400th NHL game against his former Senators teammates at Ottawa on Nov. 26… RW Jared Boll recorded a "Gordie Howe" hat trick at NY Rangers on Nov. 23 as he picked up a goal, an assist and a fight. JACKETS FOR JACKETS COAT DRIVE UNDERWAY
Columbus Blue Jackets captain Rick Nash and the Dispatch Media Group are partnering again in support of the 3rd annual "Jackets for Jackets" coat drive to help keep local families warm this winter. Fans are encouraged to bring new or gently used jackets of all sizes to upcoming Blue Jackets home games at Nationwide Arena between Nov. 28 and Dec. 17. All jackets collected will be donated to the Salvation Army's "Coats for Columbus" program and provided to local families in need.
