-The Blue Jackets enter this week's three-game California road trip having gone 4-4-0 in their last eight road games and have broken the club record for road wins with 13, set Mar. 14 at Anaheim.

-In its final 10 games, Columbus will face Chicago (2x), Detroit (3x), St. Louis (2x), Anaheim (2x) and Dallas (1x). So far this season, the club is 11-8-3 vs. those teams.

-The Blue Jackets' current roster includes 10 players who were selected by the club in the Entry Draft – Nikolai Zherdev (1st rd., 2003), Gilbert Brule (1st, 2005), Alexandre Picard (1st, 2004), Aaron Johnson (3rd, 2001), Marc Methot (6th, 2003), Ole-Kristian Tollefsen (2nd, 2002), Rick Nash (1st, 2002), Rostislav Klesla (1st, 2000), Pascal Leclaire-IR (1st, 2001) and Dan Fritsche-IR (2nd, 2003).

-Since Dec. 2, the Blue Jackets have posted a 22-21-5 record, including an 11-9-2 mark at home and 11-12-3 mark on the road.



-LW Fredrik Modin scored the 200th goal of his NHL career at Anaheim on Mar. 14 and is three points shy of 400 in his NHL career (200-197-397 in 731 games).

-LW Rick Nash recorded the 200th point of his NHL career when he tallied 1-1-2 at Los Angeles on Mar. 17 (112-88-200 in 273 games). He has 9-9-18 and is +4 in his last 18. He leads the club in goals with 23 and has set a career high with 27 assists in 65 games. His 50 points are seven shy of matching his career high of 41-16-57 set in 2003-04.

-C Geoff Platt recorded the first multi-goal game of his career with 2-1-3 at Los Angeles on Mar. 17. All three of his career goals have come vs. the Kings. In his last seven games, he has collected 3-3-6 with a +6 plus/minus rating.

-RW Nikolai Zherdev has recorded two multi-point games in his last three outings. He scored two goals at Anaheim on Mar. 14 to record his first multi-goal game since his season debut vs. Phoenix on Oct. 9 and collected a career-high three assists at Los Angeles on Mar. 17.



Eight Blue Jackets will be using special pink sticks in TPS Hockey's 2nd Annual Tribute to Hockey Moms during the pre-game warm-up prior to Tuesday's game vs. the Chicago Blackhawks. The Blue Jackets who are among other NHL players participating include – Rick Nash, Sergei Fedorov, Gilbert Brule, Manny Malhotra, Jason Chimera, Jody Shelley, Aaron Johnson and Anders Eriksson. Last year's initiative raised over $150,000 for breast cancer research.
