RECENT TRANSACTIONS: Jan. 26 - Acquired LW Curtis Glencross, C Zenon Konopka and a conditional seventh round pick in either the 2007 or 2008 NHL Entry Draft from Anaheim in exchange for RW Joe Motzko, C Mark Hartigan and a fourth round pick in the 2007 Entry Draft.

The Blue Jackets have gone 9-3-1 at home under Ken Hitchcock and have scored 47 goals (3.62 per game) in those 13 games. The club has scored at least three goals in 12 of those 13 games and has tallied four or more in six contests.

Columbus has won three-straight games, and four of its past five. The three straight wins have come against Detroit, Buffalo and Minnesota, who have a combined record of 86-55-12.

The Jackets play their next three on the road prior to returning home for a six-game homestand, the longest in franchise history.

The three-game road trip is the second swing through Western Canada for Columbus this season.



G Fredrik Norrena was named the NHL’s second star for the week ending Jan. 28 after he notched back-to-back wins over Buffalo and Minnesota. He combined to stop 53-of-56 shots and had a goals-against average of 1.88 and .949 save percentage.

RW Dan Fritsche is riding a three-game point streak, scoring a goal in three straight games. He is one goal shy of doubling his previous single-season best of six goals.

LW Jason Chimera has tallied 0-3-3 and is +4 in his past three games. He has tied a single-season high for assists with 13.

C Manny Malhotra enters Tuesday night’s game at Vancouver riding a three-game point streak (0-4-4, +4).

RW David Vyborny has tallied 0-4-4 and also has a three-game point streak entering Tuesday night’s game at Vancovuer.
