The Blue Jackets embark on this week's three-game road trip winless in five-straight for the first time since Jan. 30-Feb. 9, 2018 (0-4-1). The club rallied to go 18-7- 3 following that skid a year ago.
CBJ have converted 7-of-25 power play opportunities (28.0 percent) over the past nine games since an 11-game, 0-of-24 drought.
Since Nov. 1, the Blue Jackets have the top-ranked penalty killing unit in the NHL at 87.3 percent (89-of-103), which has raised the club's season percentage to 83.2 percent (6th-T in the NHL).
D Ryan Murray has set a new career high for assists and matched his personal best in points with 1-24-25 in 50 games. His previous career highs were 4-21-25 in 82 games in 2015-16. He is also tied for the club lead in plus/minus rating at +14.
C Brandon Dubinsky is one game shy of 800 in his NHL career (152-283-436, 799 GP)... RW Oliver Bjorkstrand has three goals in the past five games.
C Pierre-Luc Dubois has tallied 6-13- 19 in his last 18 games to raise his totals to 19-27-46, 42 PIM and a +7 plus/minus rating in 51 outings. In his first 133 NHL games, he has 39- 55-94, which stands first in club history. Nikolai Zherdev tallied 42-48-90 in his first 133 games between 2003-06.
