OhioHealth INJURY REPORT: D Bryan Berard (back injury, surgery on Oct. 19) is expected to miss two to three months… D Duvie Westcott (broken finger, Nov. 3 vs. Calgary) is expected to miss six to eight weeks… LW Rick Nash (lower body injury, Nov. 18 at Nashville) is day-to-day… LW Jody Shelley (lacerated finger, Nov. 12 at Chicago) is day-to-day.

Monday’s game between Columbus and Nashville is the third in six days between the two clubs – Nashville earned a 5-4 win on Nov. 15 and 4-2 win on Nov. 18 to improve to 7-5-0 in the last 12 meetings in the series.

Columbus is 7-3-1 in its last 11 games vs. St. Louis, including a 4-2 road win on Nov. 9 in the first meeting this season.

The Blue Jackets have never beaten Philadelphia, going 0-3-3.

Columbus is 10-8-2 all-time vs. the Minnesota Wild, including a 7-1-1 mark at Nationwide Arena. Minnesota won the first meeting of the season between the clubs 5-0 at home on Oct. 14.

The Blue Jackets relieved Gerard Gallant of his head coaching duties on Nov. 13 and named assistant coach Gary Agnew interim head coach on Nov. 14.

The Blue Jackets come into the week looking to snap a five-game losing streak since a 4-2 win at St. Louis on Nov. 9.

The club is 3-0-1 when scoring first and just 2-12-0 when allowing the first goal this season.


C Sergei Fedorov has tallied 3-4-7 in his last nine games and is four goals shy of 450 in his NHL career (446-624-1,070 in 1,067 games).

G Fredrik Norrena made his first career start at Nationwide Arena on Nov. 17 and stopped 25-of-28 shots in a 3-0 loss. In his last three appearances, he has turned aside 53-of-57 shots (.929 save percentage) in 137:15 of action and suffered two shutout losses.

LW Fredrik Modin tallied 1-1-2, nine shots and was +3 in three games last week.

LW Jason Chimera scored his first goal of the season vs. Nashville on Nov. 15 and has fired off eight shots in his last three games. By comparison, he was held to nine shots in his first 15 outings.


D Bryan Berard is two points shy of 300 in his NHL career (71-227-298 in 554 games).

RW Anson Carter is seven goals shy of 200 and three points shy of 400 in his NHL career (193-204-397 in 628 games).

D Adam Foote is one assist shy of 200 in his NHL career (61-199-260 in 879 games).
