With back-to-back games this week concluding a grueling first week of camp, Head Coach Gerard Gallant gave the Blue Jackets the day off on Tuesday, Sept. 20, allowing the players to rest and recover. Practice resumed this morning. The team remained divided into two groups, the first of which practiced at the Dispatch Ice Haus from 10-11:30 a.m., after a morning stretch.
After running through an hour and a half of drills, Group I skated off the ice while the Zamboni prepared the surface for Group II to do the same. Group II practiced from 12-1:30 p.m. Both groups met with Head Strength and Condition Coach Barry Brennan after practice and began an off ice workout before ending the day.
