Last week, Anson Carter did not have a uniform to put on.
Tonight he will don a Blue Jackets uniform for the first time as Columbus (1-0) hosts Buffalo (1-0) tonight at 7 p.m. in the Jackets' second preseason game of 2006 at Nationwide Arena.

Carter, who signed a one-year contract with CBJ on Sept. 13, will be joined in the lineup by Rick Nash, Sergei Fedorov and David Vyborny, all four of which will make their preseason debuts. Click here for a complete roster.
Columbus won its preseason opener, 2-0, over nemisis Nasvhille, on goals by Jason Chimera and Alexandre Picard. The club also received shutout-goaltending from Pascal Leclaire and Tomas Popperle.
Tonight the club will rotate between Ty Conklin and Fredrik Norrena, whom the club picked up in the Fredrik Modin deal. This could be an important evening for the two netminders, whom are in a battle to back up Leclaire in the CBJ net.
Tonight the club will welcome the new-look Buffalo Sabres to Nationwide Arena. On most occassions, the term 'new-look' will refer to player personnel, but in reference to the Sabres, it is quite literally a new look as the club unveiled a new uniform recently.
The Sabres, who lost to the Stanley Cup champion Carolina Hurricanes in the Eastern Conference Finals last season, are coming off a 4-0 win at Toronto last night, spoiling the debut of Maple Leaf acquisition, goaltender Andrew Raycroft. Martin Biron earned the victory for Buffalo, who had goals by Jiri Novotny, Derek Roy, Daniel Paille and Michael Ryan to account for the scoring.
On the roster tonight will be the other half of that outstanding goaltendinig duo that Buffalo boasts, in the recently re-signed Ryan Miller, who is expected to see some action in net tonight.
Former Jacket Jaroslav Spacek will be in a Buffalo uniform as well, after splitting last season between Chicago and the Edmonton Oilers.
As always, Huntington Green Seats will be available for tonight's game and every game during the 2006-07 season. The Huntington Green Seats are 250 seats that are priced at $10 for every home game this season and are available only at the Nationwide Arena Ticket Office, two hours prior to game time. For tonight's game each person may purchase a maximum of four seats.
