COLUMBUS, OHIO — Columbus Blue Jackets captain Rick Nash and the Dispatch Media Group are partnering again in support of the 2nd annual "Jackets for Jackets" coat drive to help keep local families warm this winter. Fans are encouraged to help by bringing new or gently used jackets of all sizes to upcoming Blue Jackets home games at Nationwide Arena on Saturday, Nov. 29 (vs. Washington), Monday, Dec. 1 (vs. Vancouver), Thursday, Dec. 11 (vs. Nashville), Saturday, Dec. 13 (vs. New York Islanders), and Wednesday, Dec 17 (vs. San Jose). All of the jackets collected will be donated to the Salvation Army's "Coats for Columbus" program which will then redistribute the cleaned coats to local families in need.
