Well, I'm back in beautiful British Columbia where the weather has been outstanding. It was 80 degrees (Fahrenheit, that's 27 degrees Celsius) again today.
Training this week has been really good. Monday, I went for my longest run to date - 1 hour and 45 minutes. It was actually not bad. But time goes by a little faster when you are looking at big snow capped mountains, running mountain trails. This morning I went on a two hour bike ride, followed with about a two mile run and finished with a 45 minute hike with my training partner Piper - my one-year old flat-coated retriever. She's a perfect partner to train with because she doesn't talk that much!
I will send you some pictures of my grueling training grounds. Off to the Memorial Cup in Brandon, Manitoba this weekend to see some of our prospects play.
Thanks for helping with this great cause and through this training!
