I cannot believe we are two days away from the big event!
I drove up yesterday and waited in line for an hour and a half to register with thousands of other competitors. It was great to be amongst the energy of the big event.
There were tents everywhere, and my son Tanner went booth to booth to register for any and all free stuff that he could find.
Meanwhile, I went to the massage booth for a free body massage. They really know how to take care of the competitors and have organized an amazing event. There are over 5,000 volunteers out here working to make sure everything goes smoothly. They said to expect 35,000 people on Sunday.
I picked up the bike today and it is all tuned up and aligned and ready to go! I will keep sending photos and as of 10 a.m. EST on Sunday, you can go directly to Blue Jackets.com or Blue JacketsFoundation.org and follow me live throughout the race by my tracking chip (#DW-44BNZ).
Thanks again, I appreciate all of the emails, notes and words of encouragement. It is great to have an entire team behind me!
