Stinger to Appear at Tim Hortons Camp Day

by Blue Jackets Staff / Columbus Blue Jackets
In support of Tim Hortons’ annual Camp Day, Columbus Blue Jackets’ mascot Stinger will visit three central Ohio Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop restaurants tomorrow morning.

On Camp Day, Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop restaurant owners generously donate all proceeds from coffee sales to the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation (THCF), helping send more than 15,000 kids each year on an unforgettable, life-changing, fun-filled camping adventure. Last year alone, thanks to Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop guests and through efforts of more than 3,700 Tim Hortons restaurants, $9.9 million was raised in the United States and Canada.

All children who attend one of the Tim Hortons Foundation's six camps are selected from within the communities where Tim Hortons Restaurants are located.  Campers (9-18 years old) attend one of three types of programs offered.  During their stay, kids participate in a wide range of programs and activities designed to build self-confidence, self-esteem and leadership.

  • 7-7:30 a.m. - 1135 Dublin Rd., Grandview

  • 8-8:30 a.m. – 6490 Riverside Dr., Dublin

Come join us tomorrow morning at one of these listed Tim Hortons locations, and meet Stinger. If you haven't heard of "Camp Day," check out the video below to see what took place last year.
