Blue Jackets forward Brandon Saad threw out the first pitch on Wednesday, Aug. 26, before the Indians vs. Brewers game at Progressive Field in Cleveland.
Before meeting up with the Indians, Saad stopped by FOX Sports Ohio and met up with our family at the Lake Erie Monsters. Did you see that photo of Saad and Sullivan C. Goal (aka Monsters' Sully)?
After arriving at Progressive Field, Saad was outfitted in some custom Indians apparel and met the guys. Soon after, he warmed up in the cages and tossed a few practice pitches before stepping onto the field to throw the honorary first pitch to Indians All-Star second baseman Jason Kipnis (who is a newly-minted Blue Jackets fan).
The Indians beat the Brewers 6-2 and overall, it was a great day in Cleveland. But don't take our word for it.
