#CBJ Social Roundup: November 13

Veteran's Day, the boys love Bob and more

by Jimmy Longo BlueJacketsNHL /

Saturday night in Detroit Sergei Bobrovsky did things that make him a two-time Vezina winner - defying gravity with a skate save to save a game the Blue Jackets eventually won in a shootout. But Bob was active beforehand too.

We're slightly biased, but we think Bob is the best at decline pullups.

Bobrovsky also got a nice surprise recently during a game. While the team was in Florida, a flag from Bobrovsky's hometown of Novokuznetsk, Russia was flown from the 200 level during the Panthers game.

Anyways, back to the kick save.

After you stop a 2-on-1 at the front door, Sundays are for relaxation.

During and after the game, the boys gave stick taps and love to their netminder on social media.

Matt Calvert took notice from home while on injured reserve.

Cam Atkinson was in utter disbelief, according to his choice of emojis. Believe us, we were too.

Veteran's Day

Thank you to all the men and women who have served and are currently serving in the armed forces. Your work is paramount to the peace of our world.

Elsewhere around the team, there were some young fans meeting their favorite player, Zac Dalpe has the cutest baby and vlogger Brittany Smith smiled more taking in a Jackets game.

Crisp fall Sunday. Waiting for Christmas to arrive with my world(s)
