The Columbus Blue Jackets practice before heading to Washington

The Columbus Blue Jackets continued to prepare for their first round series against the Washington Capitals today, practicing on Tuesday afternoon on the main ice of Nationwide Arena before heading to the nation's capital in the afternoon.

 

SOUNDS

Head coach John Tortorella commented on how the team's depth will come in handy in a long series, the dynamic ability of the players on the team and the game-breaking ability of Artemi Panarin. He also explained the team's mindset of going about their business and having fun.

Captain Nick Foligno described how he approached his recovery from injury. He also went into detail on the team's confidence entering the series and echoed his head coach's words about having fun throughout the playoffs.
