Well, here we go... off to Chicago this afternoon to being a three game divisional road trip. The Jackets have not lost in regulation in six games... 5-0-1.
This road trip begins a stretch of three games in four nights and if you factor in Monday's game against the Predators at Nationwide... it's four in six! Tough stretch but we can handle it!
Fredrik Norrena gets tomorrow's start against the Hawks and its on FSN as all three games will be.
Fredrik Modin and Duvie Westcott will not play in any of the three games this week due to injuries... but hopefully they will be able to return next week when the CBJ are at home.
Getting away from the Blue Jackets if I could... Look for talk to start heating up in the next little while about making the nets bigger to address the lack of scoring.
There were five... count'em five, shutouts on last night's schedule and goal scoring is down this season across the board by a half a goal per game!
Watch how the nay-sayers in our sport start talking about the lack of offense... and watch as I say the movement grows to make the nets bigger!!
Remember my former Panther buddy - Roberto Luongo who this past summer stated he'd RETIRE if they made the nets bigger, after working on his craft since he was first on skates on the ol' six by four. I will keep you posted this one will be interesting to watch.
*Throughout the season, AAA will bring you the Broadcaster's Blogs - "Davidge Dishes" and "Rimer Ramblings". The Columbus Blue Jackets broadcasters will try to keep you update on all the behind the scenes action through their blogs, especially when the Blue Jackets hit the road. The next road game is 11/7 @Chicago.
