Rimer Rambles about Goalies, Peca and the Commissioner

by Jeff Rimer / Columbus Blue Jackets

November 16

The Blue Jackets are back on the road here in St. Louis tonight against a Blues team that are anxious for the start of tonight's game! They have lost twice to the Jackets... both by shutout and are looking to avenge the two defeats at Nationwide.

In a bit of a surprise move... Fredrik Norrena gets the start tonight against Manny Legace, who will make his first appearance against the Blue Jackets tonight. Norrena's s start tonight means we are likely to see Pascal Leclaire Sunday at Nationwide against the Detroit Red Wings.

Good news on the injury front... Michael Peca was back on the ice for today's pre game skate and I thought looked good. No word on his return but maybe with another good skate tomorrow, perhaps he might be ready for Sunday?

We will see.

The Blues will honor new Hall of Fame Inductee - Al MacInnis - prior to tonight's game. You can see some of the pre-game ceremony on FSN Ohio tonight. Commissioner Gary Bettman will be in the house and I will get a chance to visit with him in the second intermission.
