COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets invite fans to share in the celebration of Rick Nash's Olympic glory as the Canadian gold medalist's game-worn jersey and gold medal will be on display for fans attending the Saturday, Mar. 13 game vs. St. Louis. Game time from Nationwide Arena is 7 p.m. The medal and jersey will be displayed on the main concourse outside the Coors Light Ice Cold Pub from 6-7 p.m., during the first intermission and from the second intermission through the end of the game. The items will also be shared with ticket holders on the suite level during the first period and in the Time Warner Cable HD Lounge during the second period.
Nash helped Team Canada win a gold medal at the recent Olympic Games in Vancouver, becoming the second Blue Jackets player to earn an Olympic medal (David Vyborny – Czech Republic, bronze in 2006) and the first to earn gold.
The Blue Jackets return to action at home on Thursday, Mar. 11 when they host the Atlanta Thrashers at 7 p.m. Live coverage on FOX Sports Ohio HD will begin with the Blue Jackets Live pre-game show starting at 6:30 p.m. The game will also be broadcast live on the Wheeling Island Hotel Casino Blue Jackets Radio Network and flagship station WWCD-FM, CD101, and online at BlueJackets.com.
