Nick Holden, D

Nick is coming off of a solid season in 2007-08 in which he saw extensive time with the Chillawack Bruins of the WHL. In 70 games with the Bruins last season, Nick registered 22 goals alongside 38 assists as the Bruins lost in the conference quarter-finals of the WHL Playoffs. In three games thus far with the Syracuse Crunch, Holden has five penalty minutes.
Maxsim Mayorov, LW
19 years old, 6-2, 187 pounds (Leninogorsk, Russia)
Columbus' 5th pick, 94th overall in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft
Mayorov continues to make the transition to America in his first season with the Syracuse Crunch. After playing last season in Russia, Maxsim is currently tied for fourth on the Crunch with 3 points in four games played (one goal and two assists). In the Crunch's last game against Hershey, Mayorov led the team in shots (6), but was unable to light the lamp as Syracuse lost, 7-1.
Jake Hansen, RW
19 years old, 6-1, 168 pounds (St. Paul, Minn.)
Columbus' 4th pick, 68th overall in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft
Jake just started his freshman year at the University of Minnesota and will play on the Golden Gopher Hockey team. Last year while playing with the Sioux Falls Stampede of the USHL, Jake ranked second on the team and ninth in the league in scoring with 31-27-58 over 60 games. Jake is still looking for his first point as a Gopher however, as the 9th ranked Minnesota Golden Gophers will travel to Wisconsin for a two game set this weekend.
Cody Goloubef, D
18 years old, 6-0, 195 pounds (Mississauga, Ontario)
Columbus' 2nd pick, 37th overall, in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft
Cody enters his sophomore season at the University of Wisconsin and looks to build upon the success he had as a freshman. During the 2007-08 season, Cody scored three game winning goals for the Badgers, which ranked second on the team. He ended up finishing the year as one of six different Badger defenseman with 10 or more points for the season (10).
Nick Sucharski, LW
20 years old, 6-1, 165 pounds (Toronto, Ontario)
Columbus' 6th pick, 136th overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft
Sucharski enters his senior season at Michigan State University and has 57 points already in his career for the Spartans. During his sophomore year in East Lansing, Nick tallied nine goals with 15 assists. Throughout his junior campaign, Sucharski upped his previous mark with nine goals and 17 assists. Prior to attending Michigan State, the Toronto native played for the Wexford Raiders of the Ontario Provincial Junior "A" Hockey League from 2003-05. During the 2004-05 season with the Raiders, Sucharski recorded 26 goals and 27 assists in 46 games.
