Prospects Report: October 21, 2009

Cam Atkinson, F

20 years old, 5-8, 165 pounds (Greenwich, CT)
Selected in the sixth round, 157th overall, in the 2007 Entry Draft

Atkinson assisted the only goal for Boston College as the Eagles opened their season with a 4-1 loss against Vermont. Earlier this fall, Atkinson provided a goal and two assists for the Eagles in an exhibition match against the US Under-18 team. Cam is entering his sophomore season with Boston College coming off a freshman campaign where he contributed seven goals and 12 assists for 19 points.


Sean Collins, F

20 years old, 5-9, 165 pounds (Saskatoon, SK)
Selected in the seventh round, 187th overall, in the 2008 Entry Draft

Collins started his collegiate career last year playing in 33 games for the Cornell Big Red. He contributed three goals and three assists for a total of six points, and accumulated a -3 plus/minus rating. Sean will begin his second season with the Big Red Friday night against the University of Windsor.


Steven Delisle, D

19 years old, 6-6, 217 pounds (Levise, QC)
Selected in the fourth round, 107th overall, in the 2008 Entry Draft

In his fourth year playing for the Gatineau Olympiques of the QMJHL, Delisle has helped lead the club to an 11-3-0 record. In 11 games this season Delisle has scored two goals and added four assists for a total of six points. Last season for the Olympiques big defenseman had five goals and 25 assists for 30 points.


Jake Hansen, F

20 years old, 6-2, 182 pounds (St. Paul, MN)
Selected in the third round, 68th overall, in the 2007 Entry Draft

Hansen has been scoreless in his first two games of the season for the University of Minnesota. The Gophers have started off the season with a 0-2 record after back-to-back losses to North Dakota. Last season with the Gophers Hansen scored two goals to go along with five assist for seven points in 31 games played.
