Matt Calvert, LW
19-years-old, 5-10, 182 (Brandon, Manitoba)
Selected in the fifth round, 127th overall, in 2008 NHL Entry Draft
Matt Calvert had registered points in 10 straight games as of last Friday, tallying 6-8-14 in that stretch with a +4 plus/minus rating. Through 57 games this season he leads the Wheat Kings in goals with 39, and is tied for the team lead in points with 77. Calvert also has a +35 plus/minus rating this season and has helped the Wheat Kings win 11 of their past 12 games improving to a 41-16-1 record overall.
John Moore, D
18-years-old, 6-2, 195 (Winnetka, Illinois)
Selected in the first round, 21st overall, in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft
Moore has tallied points in four of the five games for the Kitchener Rangers in the month of February, helping the club go 4-1-0 in those games. During that span, Moore has registered one goal and three assists for four points. Through 50 games played this season, Moore has recorded eight goals to go with 31 assists for 39 points and a +10 plus/minus rating.
Brent Regner, D
20-years-old, 6-0, 170 (Westlock, Alberta)
Selected in the fifth round, 137th overall, in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft
Brent Regner has not played for the Syracuse Crunch since Feb. 5, when he registered an assist in a 4-1 win over W-B Scranton. Through 33 games this season with Syracuse, Regner has three goals and nine assists for 12 points total.
Tomas Kubalik, C
19-years-old, 6-2, 189 (Plzen, Czech Republic)
Selected in the fifth round, 135th overall, in 2008 NHL Entry Draft
Kubalik is riding a three game point streak for the month of February helping the Tigers go undefeated this month. In that stretch Kubalik has tallied 4-4-8 and registered a +4 plus/minus rating. Through 48 games this season Kubalik has scored 26 goals to go with 40 assists for 66 points, and also has 73 penalty minutes.
