Will Weber, D
21 years old, 6-4, 225 pounds (Gaylord, MI)
Drafted in the second round, 53rd overall in the 2007 Entry Draft
Weber helped the Miami Redhawks sweep a two-game series against Notre Dame last weekend, earning two block shots and a +2 plus/minus rating. With the sweep, the Redhawks now stand 12-2-5 on the season. Through 17 games this season Webber has registered 0-3-3, 16 block shots and has a +7 plus/minus rating overall. As a freshman last year Weber scored three goals and added two assists for five points overall.
Cody Goloubef, D
19 years old, 6-0, 195 pounds (Mississauga, ON)
Drafted in the second round, 37th overall in the 2008 Entry Draft
Goloubef was +2 last weekend in Wisconsin's two-game sweep Michigan Tech. Through 16 games this season Goloubef has scored three goals and tallied five assists for a total of eight points. He is also currently tied for the team lead with a +12 plus/minus rating. Last year for Wisconsin, he scored five goals and added eight assists for 13 points overall in 36 games as a sophomore.
Drew Olson, D
19 years old, 6-0, 206 pounds (Brainerd, MN)
Drafted in the fourth round, 118th overall in the 2008 Entry Draft
Olson helped Minnesota-Duluth split two games at home against the North Dakota Fighting Sioux last weekend, earning a -1 plus/minus rating. Through 16 games this season with the Bulldogs, Olson has registered 0-1-1 with a 10 penalty minutes. Minnesota-Duluth has a 11-5-1 record. Last year for the Omaha Lancers of the USHL, Olson had two goals and six assists fro eight points in 39 games played.
