EDITOR'S NOTE: You've arrived at the CBJ Power Rankings, our weekly breakdown of the top-five players, statistics, trends and many other Blue Jackets-related categories. If you're looking for the traditional power rankings, you've come to the wrong place. We'll go in-depth and outside the box, and hopefully give you something to think about.

This week, we're looking at the five guys who drive the Blue Jackets' offense--the team's assist leaders 58 games into the regular season. Whether it's a defenseman setting up an initial pass, a shot from the point on the power play or grinding in front of the net, these are the players who ultimately help get goals on the board.

Let's take a look at the top five Blue Jackets assist leaders.

2013-14 TOTALS: 5G-30A-35P, 51 GP

Wisniewski is in the middle of a terrific bounce-back season and he's enjoyed improved health, which has contributed to his increased point production. He leads the Blue Jackets with 30 assists and has been a major weapon on the power play, getting shots through from the point and creating second and third opportunities for his teammates to score.
