Post-Game Quotes

Blue Jackets Head Coach Scott Arniel
Commenting on tonight's game…

"I thought our effort was very good. I didn't have a problem with our effort, but our execution was off. First 10 minutes of the first period our passing was ugly. Those that did get passes, they were bouncing off our sticks. We certainly created enough changes and they hung around with their power play. It's all about finding that (third) goal before they get it."

Commenting on play of center Kyle Wilson…
"He's an offensive guy. He has good hockey skills and sense. He knows where to get to (on the ice to score goals). He has a deceptive shot and we see it in practice. Tonight, he shot that one real quick and threw it over the blocker side of (Jose) Theodore. He's a guy that has always had confidence offensively and up here I don't think anything has changed for him."

Blue Jackets Center Kyle Wilson

Commenting on tonight's game…

"We had some unfortunate bounces on their power play. Obviously special teams are a big part of the game and they did well on that. Sometimes you come up a little bit short we worked it pretty hard tonight and unfortunately just ran out of time."

Minnesota Wild Head Coach Todd Richards

Commenting on tonight's game…

"This was a great win for our team. We played a bookend game. I thought we played a really good first period. I thought we played a really good third period. In the second period we made some mistakes, that's when Theo (Jose Theodore) was great. I like the way the guys really handled the third period. I thought we got back to putting pucks in the zone and winning some battles and creating some opportunities. It's a big win for our team and the guys deserve credit for this one."
