Playoff Preview at Nationwide Tonight?

by Jeff Rimer / Columbus Blue Jackets

March 26

In discussing an upcoming game... media types often label the game as one that will be physical, emotional and one that could get real nasty... although the game rarely turns out that way... I believe tonight it very well could be one for the ages.

It's a possible playoff preview of a first round match-up and both teams would like to send a message.

Calgary holds a slight edge in the series by virtue of an overtime win. The three previous games have been won by the home team.

On the news front... Manny Malhotra if you go by the morning skate will remain with Kristian Huselius and Rick Nash despite coach Hitchcock's declaration after practice yesterday that Jason Willams would start between the two wingers but if recent history is our gauge... look for number 29 to spell Malhotra from time to time tonight.

The good news is that Jason Chimera rejoined his teammates for the first time since his surgery for this morning's pre-game skate and could be back in the Jackets lineup sometime next week.
