OHSAA Ice Hockey Tournament:
Final Four Set

The Blue Jackets, in conjunction with the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) and Nationwide Arena coordinate the Ohio High School Ice Hockey Championships. This year's championship takes place the weekend of March 11 - 12, with the semifinal games at 10 am and 1 pm on March 11 and the championship game at 2 pm on March 12.

Hunting Valley University School became the first team to secure a spot in the Final Four with a 3-0 win over Gates Mills Gilmour Academy in the Kent Regional Final on Friday night. University School, the 2003 State Champs and 2004 Runner-Up, is making its third trip to the Final Four since Nationwide Arena started hosting the event in 2003.

University School will play in the 10 am Semifinal game on March 11 against Sylvania Northview, a 5-4 overtime winner against St. Francis DeSales on Saturday night for the Sylvania Regional title.Northview is making its first trip to Nationwide Arena.

The other semifinal will match Upper Arlington, the Columbus Regional champs, against Parma Padua Franciscan, winners of the Brooklyn Regional.  UA out scored its opponents 35-7 in the four games during the Regional Tournament, including a 5-2 win over Dublin Coffman in the Regional Final of Saturday night to secure its first trip to Nationwide Arena for a Final Four. Parma Padua out-lasted two-time defending State Champion Lakewood St. Edward 4-3 in triple overtime to capture the Brooklyn Regional title.
