Good News today on the injury front.. Both Fredrik Modin and Duvie Westcott returned to practice this morning and both could be in the line up Wednesday night when the Blue Jackets open a brief two game road trip in Los Angeles against the red hot Kings.

L.A. has won four in a row and the Jackets themselves are riding a three game winning streak and two straight victories on the road. Should be a great game!!

Both games, Wednesday against the Kings and Thursday in Anaheim against the Ducks will be televised!!

More on Modin... he and Nash were re-united for practice today and will likely see action on the top line centered by Mike Peca. It should be a solid line and one the Hitch has itched to get together since training camp but both players have been hurt at different times. Rest of the lines this morning... Vyborny-Novotny-Zherdev, Brule-Federov-Boll, and Glencross-Shelly-Malhotra-Fritche on the fourth group.

Jason Chimera has the flu and didn't take part in today's practice but he should be ready for Wednesday.

Early word from the west coast is that three of the Ducks walking wounded should be healthy enough to return Thursday meaning we will likely see Rob Niedermayer, Ryan Getzlaf and Mathieu Schneider all facing the Jackets in the Honda Center!
