NHL commissioner Gary Bettman headlines Greater Columbus Sports Commission's "Morning Sports Report" on August 14

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Morning Sports Report will celebrate the National Hockey League hosting its 60th All-Star Celebration in Columbus January 24-25, 2015 at Nationwide Arena.

NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman will be interviewed, along with Blue Jackets President of Hockey Operations/Alternate Governor John Davidson and Blue Jackets players Brandon Dubinsky, Boone Jenner and Jack Johnson about last season’s playoff run, the state of the game and League and what Columbus can expect from the All-Star festivities this winter.

The Morning Sports Report presented by Marathon on Thursday, August 14 from 7-9:15 a.m. in Battelle Grand Ballroom at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. This annual townhall meeting provides fans an inside look at Central Ohio’s sports scene, featuring its teams, notable figures and upcoming events.

This year the breakfast event will celebrate the return of the Ohio High School Athletic Association State Football Championships to Columbus in 2014 and the 2015 NHL All-Star Celebration hosted by the Columbus Blue Jackets at Nationwide Arena.

A VIP reception and a Fan Fair will be held before breakfast, providing opportunities to meet Columbus sports celebrities and visit exhibits by sports teams and vendors
