by BlueJackets.com Staff / Columbus Blue Jackets

Easton Town Center is the go-to shopping destination in Columbus. You already knew that.

So it's no surprise that the Blue Jackets are also big fans of Easton, and just like you, they've got some favorite spots of their own.

Throughout the season, we'll catch up with the guys and ask them about their "top spots" at Easton, and you'll probably find you have more in common with them than you thought!

For this season's second edition of "My Top Spots," we sat down with defenseman Dalton Prout. The 25-year-old native of Kingsville, Ontario was selected by Columbus in the sixth Round (154th overall) of the 2010 NHL Draft.

The 6-foot-3, 230 pound blueliner is in his fifth career NHL season, all of which have been spent with the Blue Jackets.

Favorite casual food spot at Easton: Northstar Cafe (and the covered patio!)

"I have a ton of ____" in my closet: Shoes

DP: "I have a hundred pairs of shoes. I love shoes...running shoes, dress shoes. I don’t know where it comes from... my grandpa had a lot of shoes. I played basketball in high school, and I always loved getting new basketball shoes."
