Thanks to all who submitted questions for the offseason's 16th #CBJ mailbag. Hopefully, we'll get together every Thursday/Friday and I'll answer your questions, so send them to @RobMixer anytime.

Any word on what the 2015-16 @monstershockey sweaters will look like? Are we talking full on change or shoulder patch swap?
The Monsters jerseys aren't changing much, if at all, as a result of the new affiliation. There are, however, theme jerseys in the works.
Here's the latest: there is a final design, it has been approved, and there are plans to unveil it closer to the start of the season. This jersey will be worn by the Monsters on all 12 "Blue Jackets Nights," which will be Friday night games at Quicken Loans Arena.
As was stated by both Blue Jackets and Monsters executives during April's press conference in Cleveland, the jersey features both Blue Jackets and Monsters themes. I won't give away any secrets because I'm not allowed to, so just make sure you're paying attention closer to the season and you'll see the real deal.

You get to pick one new food that appears at Blue Jackets games. What is it?
I'll admit that I'm not as up-to-speed on the arena food and beverage options since I spend game nights in the press box (where the popcorn is A+), but there's so much offered at Nationwide Arena and one of these days, I'll do a tour-de-food and write about it. Chef Joe Ditri and his team are absolute rock stars.
I do, however, have an idea:
A meatball sub using Chef John's special recipe meatballs. They are incredible.
Add in a nice roll, some parmesan cheese, a little melted mozzarella and top-notch tomato sauce and we're in business. Deliver those to the press level a couple times per week and we'll be best friends for life.
Is there a song that is played every day in the locker room or is it always different? (Tank)
Hey Tank! Hope you're doing well, pal.
Locker room music changes every day. Sometimes, the DJ responsibilities fall on one player for an extended period of time and sometimes it changes regularly. Cam Atkinson's younger brother, Brett, does some DJ work and he's sent some pre-game mixes to the team in the past. The team does have "post-win" songs which become pretty popular throughout the year.
Last year it was "We Dem Boyz" and the year before that, the room was bumping with "Timber" because you can never have enough of that song, right? There were a lot of wins in 2013-14, and a lot of Ke$ha as a result.

Are the voluntary skates open to the public?
The daily voluntary/informal skates at the OhioHealth Ice Haus are in fact open to the public. The players typically take the ice shortly after 10 a.m. and skate for about an hour.
