Jackets Make More Roster Moves

COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets made their third round of roster moves of training camp today, assigning five players to the Springfield Falcons, Columbus’ American Hockey League affiliate and released three other players, Executive Vice President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Scott Howson announced. The current training camp roster consists of 40 players (list includes three injured players).

The five players assigned to Springfield were: forward Oliver Gabriel and defensemen Anton Blomqvist, Steven Delisle, Dalton Prout and Brent Regner. The following players were released: forward Aaron Bogosian (has AHL contract with Springfield), Adam Payerl (returned to Belleville of the Ontario Hockey League) and defenseman Trevor Ludwig.

Training Camp, presented by OhioHealth, continues on Sunday. The playing group vs. Buffalo hits the ice at 9:30 a.m., while the non-playing group will practice at 10:30 a.m.

The Blue Jackets continue preseason action Sunday when the club hosts the Buffalo Sabres. Game time from Nationwide Arena is set for 5 p.m. ET. The game can be heard on the Wheeling Island Hotel & Casino Blue Jackets Radio Network on 1460 ESPN and online at
