Jackets Look for First Ever Sweep of the Avs!

by Blue Jackets Staff / Columbus Blue Jackets

February 10

Coming off Saturday's huge victory over the San Jose Sharks the Blue Jackets look to beat the visiting Colorado Avalanche at Nationwide tonight.

The Blue Jackets have won the series first three games and a win tonight would give the CBJ a four game sweep of the Avs!

Dan LaCosta will make his second NHL start fresh off his solid outing against the Sharks and if today's pre-game skate is an indication of things to come... look for Steve Mason to possibly return to the nets Friday against the Detroit Red Wings. Mason took part in his second straight full practice and when asked if he could put a percentage on how he feels volunteered that he was about 85% recovered. Great news for the kid and the Blue Jackets.

Jake Voracek was back on the ice this morning and will play tonight.

Game time is 7 p.m. at Nationwide and yes tonight's telecast will again be produced in HD!
