Jackets Bring Two-Game Winning Streak Into Music City

by Staff Writer / Columbus Blue Jackets
The Blue Jackets (2-1-0) leave the friendly confines of Nationwide Arena for their first road game of the 2005 preseason, after winning two-of-three during the club's initial preseason homestand. The club, currently riding a two-game winning streak, will travel south to Nashville, Tenn., to face the Predators (1-0-0).

Nashville, playing its home opener, began its preseason with a 4-3 victory over the Blues on Wednesday, at the Savvis Center in St. Louis. Randy Robitaille, Scott Hartnell and rookies Ryan Suter and Shea Weber tallied goals for the Preds.

The contest, which starts at 8 p.m. (ET), will be broadcast live on the Blue Jackets Radio Network, which includes flagship stations 1460 The Fan and CD 101.

After the game, the Jackets will return home to Columbus and will hold practice on Saturday, before traveling to Chicago on Sunday, for a matchup with the Blackhawks.
