Perhaps the National Hockey League's top team and certainly the hottest presently, the San Jose Sharks make their first visit to Nationwide Arena tonight to face the Blue Jackets.

On the injury front a mixed bag... Jan Hejda returns ahead of schedule but the Jackets will be without three additional players with Derick Brassard, Kristian Huselius, and Mike Commodore all nursing minor ailments and all likely out for the back to back games, here tonight and in Atlanta tomorrow evening. The Jackets have recalled Derek MacKenzie on an emergency basis and he will be in the lineup centering the fourth line. Nikita Filatov will also dress for tonight's game as the Jackets look to pick up where they left off Sunday in Washington with their thrilling come from behind win over the Capitals.

Coach Hitchcock suggested his team plays their best against the NHL's Best and he is looking for the Blue Jackets to continue that trend tonight. It will be Steve Mason in goal for the CBJ and he appears to be on the rebound from his early season woes, while Evgeni Nabokov goes for the Sharks.

The Sharks not unlike the Jackets are missing a number of key players but that has not stopped them form recording five straight wins and three in a row on the road.
