Great Day at the Ice Haus

by Jeff Rimer / Columbus Blue Jackets

January 14

Great day at the Dispatch Ice House.

To the best of my memory today is the first day since TRAINING CAMP opened that the Blue Jackets had their full NHL team on the ice TOGETHER save for Andrew Murray!!

Yes, hard to believe the full compliment of players practicing together! Great to see Fredrik Modin back with his teammates involved in full contact. I do not expect to see Freddie play tomorrow night against Vancouver having taken part in just one full practice... but I do fully expect if all goes well... he'll be playing at some point during the five game road trip that starts Thursday in Phoenix!

Freddie incidentally was working on a line today with Derick Brassard and Jared Boll. Sergei Fedorov was back on the ice today working between Rick Nash and Jiri Novotny and Ole-Kristian Tollefsen also returned to practice today giving the CBJ a full squad.

Look for Pascal Leclaire to start tomorrow game against the Canucks.
